Membership

Membership is open to everyone from budding artists to teaching professionals. 

We offer a friendly welcome to new members. That starts right from the beginning so that when you arrive for your first event we will introduce you to other members and provide a supportive environment in which to develop your skills.

The cost is currently only £30 a year with a reduced rate of £15 for full time students.

Benefits of Membership
The following are a selection of what we offer each year.

Demonstrations

Enjoy a professional artist demonstrate aspects of their work, including oils, watercolours, pastels, etc. nine times a year. Demonstrations take place  on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the United Reformed Church, Caterham Valley starting at 7.30pm and finish around 9.30pm.  Free to members - visitors are very welcome (£5 fee applies, £2 for students)

Exhibitions

We hold an annual large summer exhibition for members to display and sell their works. 

We also have the occasional pop-up exhibition, so keep your eyes peeled for notification!

Workshops

Workshops take place on a Saturday and run from 10am until about 4pm. with a tutor to lead, encourage, help and advise. 

Please bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided. 

There will be a fee for all workshops.

Sketching Days

These are arranged on an ad hoc basis from April to the autumn at various locations in the area. 

Detailed arrangements will be circulated to members prior to each event. 

The days are free but there may be an entry charge to the destination.
