Welcome

The Caterham Art Group is a society of amateur and professional artists drawn from Caterham and the surrounding area in Surrey. The group has been active for over 50 years and currently boasts a membership of around 100. It is open to artists working in all the popular mediums - oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel and scaperboard - and people with an interest in art. All abilities are catered for and beginners are encourage to join to further their ambitions

Demonstrations

The group holds nine demonstrations/mini-workshops and two informal evenings throughout the year.

The group ventures outside six times on a monthly basis during the summer at various locations in the area

On three Saturdays a year the group organises painting workshops in the most popular mediums like watercolour, oil and pastel.

Annual Exhibition

The highlight of the year is the annual summer exhibition where members showcase their talents to a wider public audience.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION Subscriptions for 2020 are now due and remain at £25 and £15 for full-time college students. They can be paid by cash or cheque (made payable to Caterham Art Group) at the evening demonstrations until March.
Join us on February 26 when Fiona Hooper will be painting a still life in oils. Visitors are very welcome; a £4 fee applies . Venue is the URC Hall in Harestone Hill, Caterham CR3 6SX with a start time of 7.30pm
